Rage room in Warsaw – the complete 2026 guide

8 min read

A rage room is a fast-growing attraction across Polish cities. Warsaw in particular has seen a real surge in popularity – among people looking for an unconventional way to release everyday stress, groups planning hen and stag parties, and companies organising integration events. If you are wondering whether it is worth a try, this guide answers all the questions that come up before a first visit.

What is a rage room, exactly?

A rage room – also known as a smash room, demolition room or fury room – is a specially prepared, safe space where you can legally and consequence-free smash objects. We are talking about glass bottles, old furniture, electronics (printers, monitors, keyboards, TVs) and other things that would normally end up at the dump.

This is not just fun. Rage rooms appeared as a response to the growing problem of chronic stress and burnout. The first one opened in Japan, then the idea quickly spread to Western countries. Today rage rooms operate in most European capitals – Smash&Fun is the first such venue in Warsaw designed for a complete, intense experience.

What a session at Smash&Fun looks like, step by step

The whole visit takes 30 to 90 minutes depending on the chosen package. Here is roughly how it goes:

  1. Arrival and welcome. You come to our location at Postępu 19/4 in Warsaw's Mokotów. A staff member greets you, briefly explains the place and walks you to the prep area.
  2. Safety briefing. A short training – how to hold the tools, how to swing, what to avoid. It takes a few minutes but is absolutely critical.
  3. Protective gear. You put on a coverall, a helmet with a face shield and sturdy gloves. All gear is checked regularly and disinfected after every customer.
  4. Tool selection. You can use a baseball bat, a sledgehammer, a crowbar, a golf club, a cricket bat. Each tool feels different – we recommend trying several.
  5. The session. You are led into a specially prepared room with items waiting to be destroyed. You can play your own music. A timer counts down your time.
  6. A keepsake. After the session you can order a GoPro recording – a great memento that doubles as social-media content.

Packages and pricing – what to choose?

At Smash&Fun we have four core packages tailored to different experience levels and group sizes:

  • PIECE OF CAKE – ideal for a first try or a smaller group. 25 glass items, up to 30 minutes, max 2 people. Lets you discover what a smash session feels like without a big commitment.
  • EASY – our most popular package. 25 glass items, 2 pieces of furniture and 3 electronic devices, up to 45 minutes, max 4 people. Works great for couples and groups of four.
  • MEDIUM – for those who want a more serious smash. 30 glass items, 3 pieces of furniture, 5 electronics, up to 90 minutes, max 6 people. Bestseller for groups.
  • HARD – the extreme package. 50 glass items, 5 pieces of furniture, 10 electronics, up to 90 minutes, max 6 people. For those who want to feel the full force.

Add-ons are available for each package – more glass, TVs, printers, additional furniture. Pricing is transparent, no hidden costs.

Is it safe?

This is the most common question and the answer is yes – as long as you follow the briefing. At Smash&Fun:

  • every participant gets full safety gear (coverall, helmet with face shield, gloves),
  • a safety briefing is mandatory before the session,
  • items are carefully selected – no tempered glass, no explosive materials,
  • the room is designed for free movement,
  • staff is on site at all times and can pause the session whenever needed.

The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart conditions, those who recently had surgery, or with serious physical limitations. If in doubt, consult a doctor first.

Who is it for?

A rage room is not just for people coming off a tough work week. Increasingly we see bookings from:

  • Couples – a memorable date that actually stays in memory.
  • Groups of friends – ideal for hen and stag parties. We wrote a separate article about hen-party ideas in Warsaw.
  • Companies – integrations, team buildings, corporate events. We have dedicated B2B packages and issue VAT invoices.
  • Gift buyers – vouchers are a popular pick for birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day or anniversaries. The voucher is valid for 12 months.
  • People in stressful jobs – doctors, programmers, managers, lawyers. A smash session works faster than most classic relaxation methods.

What guests say

The most common reaction after a first session: "I did not expect it to have such an effect." Many people say they slept better that night, felt physical relaxation in their shoulders and neck, released tension that other methods could not touch.

We do not promise miracles or replace therapy – but as a one-off "reset" the rage room works surprisingly well. For many of our customers it is not the first nor the last visit.

How to book?

Best done online – our system shows real-time availability. You can also call +48 881 281 313 if you are planning a larger group or have questions.

If you want to book a session for someone else, gift vouchers are a great solution – the recipient picks a convenient date themselves.

Summary

A rage room in Warsaw combines adrenaline with a real anti-stress effect. Smash&Fun has been operating in Mokotów for more than two years – with experience from thousands of customers, four package levels and full service for individual clients and groups up to 6 (and, after a quick chat, also larger company events).

If you are unsure whether to try – pick PIECE OF CAKE, see how you feel and come back for more. Most guests do exactly that.
